"R" is for Rockstar

Yep, it's that time again.....time to play catch up!!!! Easter has come and gone but those pictures will have to wait for just a bit.

Wilson's preschool class had their Rock star Day (my fave day of the year) a while back. Each week they focus on a letter of the alphabet, so what's more appropriate than ROCK STAR for the letter "R"?!?!?!?

The Rocker ready to go!

When Wilson and I started talking about what he wanted to wear and do for this fun day, his only request was "a mohawk that is green and blue!" Ok.....well he got what he asked for!

Cutest Rock star cousins EVER!!!! Stirling was channeling her inner Debbie Gibson/early Madonna look!

Coolest preschool teachers ever!!

Wilson and his buddy Slash/KISS member, aka Rucker

Some of the rockers!

All of the the rocker dudes! How cute are they?!?!?

Rec League Madness

It's definitely March Madness around our house these days! If we aren't at the baseball field getting ready for the season we are at home watching the NCAA March Madness going on all over the country. Just seemed fitting to wait and post about Nathan's first year playing rec league basketball.

He had a great season!!! We really were impressed with the improvements he had made since last year when he played Upward basketball. I don't think he took a shot last year and this year he scored almost every game. Whoo hoo!!! Go Nate!!!

Who said Nathan couldn't be aggressive?!?!?!? ;-) was probably me! Proved me wrong, didn't he!

And here are two of our littlest fans!! If we could get them up out from under the bleachers they might have actually seen their brothers play basketball! Little monkeys!!!

Coach Hardin did a great job with the kids. She got them all involved in some way and definitely focused on their strong points. Thanks Coach for a great season!

Nice trophy Nathan!!!!

Job well done!

Bowling Bash

It's been a month and I am just now posting pictures from Wilson's 5th birthday party.....I guess my life is just going to make it hard to keep this blog updated all the time. Like always, bare with me ;)

Wilson had a GREAT birthday at the local bowling alley with all his friends. For most of his little friends this was their first time bowling so everyone was super excited and had a blast! Thank you to all of his buddies for coming out and making #5 so special.

Brothers!!! Nathan (8) and Wilson (5)

Look at that determination!!!!

Wilson only invited boys to his party this year, with the exception of 2 special girls in his life, and obviously cousin Stirling made the "cut" ;)

It was a wild and crazy day with 19 4/5 year olds but seeing the smile on ALL their faces was well worth it! Happy Birthday Wilson!

One of the things the bowling alley does on someones birthday is to give them an old bowling pin, and everyone signs it. So cute!

And let me tell you....Wilson is P.R.O.U.D. of that pin!!!!

Time Flies..................

Because there is NO WAY this little guy is 5!!!!

Wilson Roderick Foster

Wilson made his EARLY debut on February 3, 2007.......just shy of being 6 weeks early. His daddy was not even in town when the fun began. Myself and Nathan (3 yrs at the time) woke up on a normal Saturday morning expecting it to be "boring" to say the least. And boy did we get that all wrong. Thank goodness daddy made it to the hospital 30 minutes before this angel came into this world. Wilson weighed 5 lbs, 9 oz and couldn't have been more perfect. Let's take a walk down memory lane.........................

1st birthday

2nd birthday

3rd birthday

Proud to be 4!!!

And last night we celebrated the big 5!!!! I honestly cannot believe baby isn't a baby anymore!!!! **Tears**

Happy Birthday Wilson! You are a true joy to our are spunky, silly, loving, sneaky, caring, kind and most of all OURS!!! We love you!

To be continued...............(party pics coming soon)!!!!

CHRISTmas 2011

Christmas came and went like a flash!!! This year I still grabbed my camera but instead of trying to capture every single moment, I tried to sit back and take it all in just by watching. Not just snap, snap, snapping away on the camera. I still got lots of cute pics and below is our Christmas in a nutshell.
