Thanksgiving 2008

We are so thankful for all of our family and friends and most of all our precious Lord. As much as the Christmas season wears me out, I am excited to begin the birthday celebration for Jesus this month. Hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey day.

Here are the few pics I got from Thanksgiving Day/Week. I wasn't as camera ready this year, I don't know what was wrong with me. :)

Nate's Thanksgiving Day Feast at school. Isn't he a cute pilgrim!

The little turkey of the family!

There is nothing better than test driving the mini John Deere.

Charlotte's Web

Yesterday Rod and I took Nathan to see the play Charlotte's Web at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. It was so cute! Nate was absolutely mesmerized the whole time. He barely moved a muscle. What a great ending to a great weekend. I love the men in my life, and what is better than getting to go on a date with at least 2 of them ------ Wilson, when you get a little older I will be just as excited to share these date nights with you too. :)

My dates for the evening!

Nathan and myself w/ William Shakespeare!

Doesn't a girl deserve a kiss at the end of the night? :)

HE'S 21............

Months!!!! I love, love, love this stage of toddlerhood. They are such sponges and watching them discover new things daily brings such a smile to my face.
Wilson, you are such a joy to your daddy and myself. Nathan thinks you are pretty cute too. You love to follow big brother around and can't wait to wrestle with daddy on the floor.
Your laugh is contagious and I am not sure if I have ever seen a child who WANTS to be tickled quite as much as you do. But to hear that sweet laugh, I am happy to oblige you.
You are ALL boy. If it has wheels on it or even resembles a ball, you are excited. You are starting to listen to us more, and actually do what we are asking or telling you to do.
As much as I want to wish for you to stay this size, I am just as excited to see the next milestones occur. I know you will be a big boy before we know it, but try not to grow SO fast.

Soccer Season Ends..............

But of course, not without a PARTY!!!!!!!

Well, our 1st season of soccer has finally come to an end. I am not going to predict him to be the next Beckham by any means, but he definitely had fun out there kicking the ball around. The best part of the whole thing is watching our sweet Nathan's expression after he would make a hard earned goal. It was priceless!! Of course, running off the field immediately after the goal to give me a hug was pretty cute too.

This is how we started the season....................

And this is how we ended it................FROG LEGS!!!

Check out this cake (from Sam's Club)

Their coach (Coach Mark) got them all trophies and had a little speech about each of them. It was so cute. Nate was named Best Defensive Player (not sure how that happened, but we will take it).
