Sunny Day Play
Yesterday we had a fun little water day. Thomas and Stirling came over to play with Wilson ( we missed you Mackenzie and Prather). Nathan even got in on the fun before he had to leave. We had such a great time. The babies are hilarious to watch and are at such a cute age. Wilson even got brave enough to take a few steps. Watching his little friends walking must have given him some encouragement. The ladies just sat and talked, drank mudslides (julie- your glass was chilled and waiting, hope Mackenzie feels better soon) and of course took pictures.
P.S. Thanks girls!!! I needed that!

Can This Cause Brain Damage?
They loved it at first. But by the time I got the camera, they were pretty much over it.

My Little Cook
This week has been a rough one. I came down with a bit of a head cold this past weekend, which then turned into a pretty bad sinus infection. I could hardly stand up without getting dizzy and light headed. Thank goodness for my mom who stepped in and helped out with the boys. She came over Tuesday and took it upon herself to make me some homeade chicken-n-dumplins. Yum-Yum!! Nate wanted to help soooooo bad, he just knew it would make mommy feel better. I managed to get up off my death bed to snap a few shots of him with his hands in the flour. I couldn't let the opportunity go by. Who knows when it will ever happen again.
Patting the dough out ( sorry its a bit blurry- remember I was sick)
Look at the concentration on that face! I Love it!!!!

Just-a Swingin'
It has finally arrived!!!! Nate and Wilson's new playset!!!!! YEAH!!!!!! We knew when we moved that we would need to purchase a new playset ASAP! It took a little while for it to get here, but the folks had it assembled within 2 1/2 hours. WOW! Had it been Rod and I putting it together, we would still be working on it when the boys go to college. Anyway, as soon as the contractors left yesterday, Nate was bolting out the door to try it out. Wilson soon joined him and they were both in hog heaven. Here are a couple pics from yesterday as well as a little movie clip. I went inside to get my camera and when I returned I found Nate giving Wilson some brotherly pushes on the swing. Enjoy! Check us out mom!!!! Here we go!!

Tagged, I'm it!!!
So as it goes, my sweet friend Brooke tagged me. And per the rules of the game you guys have to read a few things about me. I sure hope you enjoy! Read all the way to the end of the post to find out if you've been tagged, my friends!!! :) Here we go!!!!
What Was I Doing Ten Years Ago?
I was studying Rehabilitation and Special Services at Auburn University. Rod and I had only been dating for a few months. We were so IN LOVE it was sickening to most of our friends. Thinking back on those days, we had it so easy. No worries in the world, other than "what am I going to wear out tonight?". Parents footed the bill on most aspects of my life. I did work at Grand National Golf Course ( beer cart girl, waitress, bartender). Fun, Fun!!!! I lived in a duplex with 2 of my best friends, and on the otherside of the duplex were 3 of our best guy friends. You can imagine the late nights there!!!!! Oh how I miss those care free days!!!!
Five Things on My To-Do List Today:
1. Catch up on my Bible Study homework. It is so rewarding and eye opening.
2. Get some more things done around the house. Ex. Hang a mirror. Work on my bookcases
3. Laundry!!!!!! Never ending!
4. Get a pedicure. (If my sweet hubby gets home early)
5. Take the kids to the park, weather permitting.
Five Snacks I Enjoy:
1. Popcorn ( I am on weight watchers currently)
2. Baked Lays
3. Nilla wafers w/ peanut butter (not on diet)
4. Cheez-Its
5. Angel food cake ( one slice is only 1 point )
Five Things I would Do If I Were a Billionaire:
1. Pay off all debt
2. Secure my children's future education
3. Invest for retirement
4. Give to the church and other Charity
5. Buy a couple vacation homes
Five Bad Habits:
1. Not doing my devotionals everyday -- like I plan too!
2. Not telling and showing the ones I love, how much they mean to me on a regular basis
3. Don't exercise like I should
4. Like Brooke, don't drink enough water. I love a Diet Dr. Pepper though!!!!
5. I burp too much ( only at home though, this all started when I got pregnant with Wilson).
Five Places I Have Lived: ( this is sad, I know)
1. 1410 Katie Lane ( Auburn)

Corral the Kids!!!!!
Ok, I must admit, I have used my pack-n-play quite a bit in the past week. Trying to get anything done in the house is practically impossible when you have a child who is in to EVERYTHING!!! Climbing on furniture, up the stairs (which he mastered in one day), eating foreign objects off the floor. AAAAAHHHHH!
As it seems, Nate likes to get in there with the little tasmanian devil and help entertain him. Thanks Nate!!! But sometimes it can get a little hairy in there. Enjoy the pics from last week.
