The 4 F's!!!!!

Family, Friends, Food & Fireworks........... put it all together and you have a great 4TH OF JULY weekend!!!!!!

I hope everyone out there had a fabulous 4th!!! We sure did!! It started on Thursday when we attended the Opelika Fireworks. We had a picnic dinner and hung out with some sweet friends.

Saturday, of course, was dedicated to family........Rod and Brad decided to smoke chickens (using our Uncle Howard's famous chicken recipe) for my dad. It was something they had promised him they would do for a father's day or a birthday, but what better time than the 4th!!!! And they did a great job.....Howard would have been proud!!! Great job guys!!!

So the rest of the day went something like this.....................................

Fresh Corn on the Cob -- yummy!!!!

Homemade Ice-Cream.....thanks mom!!!!

Sparklers for the kids.....or at least the big kid :)

More friends.........sweet Prather came by to watch the fireworks with us!
